Deadlines

Temporary stay in another city does not oblige people to register within 90 days. After this period has expired, you must register and obtain a temporary registration, which is issued within a week for 3 months.

If you plan to stay longer than this period, a permanent type of registration is required.

When a person living and registered in Russia wishes to change his place of residence, he has 7 days from the date of arrival at the new place to obtain registration on permanent terms.
