An important nuance: according to Russian legislation, initial temporary registration of foreign citizens at the post office is possible, but its extension after expiration is not. Applying for a service that is not within the competence of Russian Post employees is another good reason for refusal.

What documents are required for temporary registration?

What are the risks of registering a foreigner in your apartment?

Therefore, you should not believe migrants who promise to register in the host party’s apartment and live in another place. They may not keep their promise. Step by step procedure

1. The person who invited a foreign resident comes to any branch with the above package of documents.

3. The need for temporary registration for a citizen of Ukraine

• Belarus.
