Filling out an application for change of residence registration

  2. Provide personal information.
  3. Indicate your passport details and place of birth.
  4. Fill in the field for your current place of registration (where you are going to check out from).
  5. Write the full address where you are going to register.

  7. Indicate the type of document on the basis of which you own the property.
  8. Answer whether you have a citizenship other than the Russian Federation.

  10. Inform whether part of your family lives at the address indicated in the future registration.
  11. Select a migration service unit to submit documents from the list of recommended units depending on location. In this unit, all documents regarding discharge and registration will be issued in paper form.
  12. Give consent to the processing of personal data and liability for providing knowingly false information or forged documents.
  13. Click the “send” button.

  1. Set up a convenient type of notification on the page with the submitted application.

Show your passport to the employee of the Main Department of Migration Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The owner of the apartment shows his passport and certificate of ownership of the apartment.

You will need to sign ready-made applications for deregistration at the old address and for registration at the new address. Sometimes they have to be filled out by hand on the spot, because... State Services may have an old form. The owner writes a statement that he agrees to register you in his apartment (the form will be given on the spot).

Registration nuances

If we are talking about your own real estate, registering in it through State Services or in another way is not a problem. There will be no restrictions, even if we are talking about a share in the premises. But if registration is carried out on someone else’s property, then the consent of the owner is required. He must give his consent to this, expressed by a statement.

If the premises have several co-owners, consent from each will be required. An exception is if we are talking about the child of one of the owners or the child of another person who is already registered in this premises.

Through State Services, you can submit an application for registration not only for yourself, but also for your child under 14 years of age. In this case, the child can be registered at the place of registration of one of his parents, regardless of whether they are the owners or not. According to Russian legislation, children under 14 years of age are registered without barriers in the same place where their parents are registered.

If we are talking about a child 14-18 years old, in this case it is no longer the parent, but he himself who submits the application for registration. That is, if a minor wants to do this through State Services, he must have his own verified account. If it is not there, then registration is issued using standard non-remote methods.
