Learning to write a report correctly

As already mentioned, a report is an oral or written report about something, which is drawn up in a special form. What do you need to know in order to correctly draw up such a document? The fact is that the oral form is not very different from the written form. But experts recommend first preparing a written version of the document, which will later be used during an oral report.

Its writing features are as follows:

  1. In the upper right corner the details of the addressee are indicated (that is, to whom the report is being submitted), indicating the position of the manager, full name.
  2. Below we write down our data - on whose behalf the report is being conducted (indicating your position, full name).
  3. The name of this document is indicated in the middle of the line (in our case, “Report”).

Early termination

The contract may be canceled early if:

  • the parties have expressed their consent by signing the contract;
  • the performance of military duties has been suspended or the contract soldier has been transferred to the army of another state;
  • the military man is enrolled in training and a new agreement is concluded;
  • the contract worker was dismissed early;
  • The military man was expelled from school.

The agreement is canceled:

  • on the day of issuance of the corresponding order in case of early dismissal;
  • on the day of suspension of service (if a new agreement is not drawn up);

Thus, the law does not provide for a prohibition on extending the time of stay in the ranks of the Armed Forces by a contract worker who has not reached the maximum permissible age, and also does not have grounds for early dismissal. Release does not mean dismissal

Courts, when considering claims on labor disputes and illegal dismissals, clearly recognize: in order for an employer to have the right to terminate an employment contract at the request of an employee, the application must contain a phrase that cannot be interpreted in two ways. The employee must clearly express his intention to leave the company. Such phrases include:

  • fire;
  • terminate the employment relationship;
  • terminate the employment contract.

The desire to “get rid” of a position can only be interpreted as a refusal to perform certain job functions that are prescribed to the employee. And this cannot be interpreted as an expression of will to terminate the employment contract. In other words, the employee doesn’t want to work anymore, but doesn’t want to quit either. The phrases “release from office”, “consider me free”, “resign” are neutral expressions that cannot be recognized as grounds for dismissal.

In the Labor Code, performing work is a mandatory function of an employee holding a certain position on the staff of an enterprise. Without this, the existence of labor relations between employee and employer becomes impossible.

An exception may be a situation when an employee works part-time and wants to give up only one of his positions. That is, he asks to be relieved of part of the work, without demanding to be relieved of other responsibilities.

If there is only one position, it is not possible to fulfill the employee’s requirement stated in the application. The employer cannot provide the employee with complete freedom from duties without terminating the contract.

What is a “report”

The word “report” itself has French roots and literally means “to report.” Indeed, such a document is, first of all, a report or report that is provided to a senior manager orally or in writing. Most often, such reports are used in military affairs (for example, a commander receives a report from a serviceman of a lower rank).

The report should be written depending on the purpose of the request or presentation of facts:

Who can apply for the accrual of “lifting”

  • While undergoing treatment.

Renewal procedure

The period of stay in the ranks of the Armed Forces is extended as follows:

  1. The applicant sends a report to the official authorized to renew the contract. It must be submitted 4 months before the end of the current contract period (if the maximum age threshold is reached, the submission period increases to 6 months).
  2. The report is registered after acceptance and sent to the commander for review.
  3. The decision to extend the service period or reject the application must be made no later than 3 months before the end of the current contract.
  4. If the report is approved, an additional contract is drawn up and signed by the applicant and the commander. The document is drawn up in 2 copies (they have equal legal force). One of them remains with the contract soldier, the other is placed in his personal file and stored in the personnel service.

If the deadline for submitting a report is not met, the citizen is transferred to the reserve after the expiration of the current contract.

The exception is situations in which the contract employee does not have the opportunity to submit a report and draw up an additional agreement. This is possible while on sea voyages, maternity leave, in captivity, or other circumstances that preclude contacting the supervisor within the prescribed period.

In these cases, the period of stay in the ranks of the Armed Forces continues until the specified circumstances are eliminated, after which a report for extension is sent or a resignation order is signed.

The new contract becomes valid on the day it is signed by the authorized person. The signature is placed on the day:

  • next after the cancellation of the current agreement - if the period of stay in the ranks of the Armed Forces ends;
  • enrollment in an educational institution;
  • next after moving to a new duty station;
  • registration with government agencies.
  • Signing a new agreement will invalidate the current one.

    Main reasons:

    • The presence of minor children - due to certain circumstances, a soldier must raise them alone.
    • The soldier's family lives in another state.
    • For health reasons, a conclusion from a medical commission is required.
    • Pregnancy;
    • A close relative died;
    • The soldier cannot financially provide for his family and is in search of an additional source of income.

    Transfer to contract

    The labor activity of any soldier is regulated by the Labor Code. Military service does not relate to ordinary work activity, since service implies certain characteristics.

    An enterprise employee must draw up a statement, and a military man must draw up a report. Thus, a report is the same as an application only for military service.

    Who cannot claim payments under a contractual service agreement

    The authorities may refuse to submit a report, citing legislative norms and prohibitions on additional payments that are not regulated by the legislative framework of the Russian Federation.

    The following categories of military personnel are not entitled to financial assistance:

    • when sending a contract soldier by order of the highest military command to undergo training at a specialized higher educational institution, to improve the level of skill and qualifications of the serviceman, subject to a training period of no more than 12 months in total;
    • after completing training, the serviceman returns to his old unit;
    • premature re-registration of a serviceman before signing a contract for service; if the order is violated, assistance from the state is not provided;

    • the military man was fired immediately upon arrival;
