“Our healthcare seems to be free, but we still have to pay for everything. I heard that you can somehow get your money back for treatment if you have an insurance policy. Is this true and if so, how much money and for what can I get it back?
– Refunds for treatment under the compulsory medical insurance policy are indeed possible. This is regulated by Federal Law No. 323-FZ of November 21, 2011 “On the Fundamentals of Health Protection”. However, not all the money spent by the patient can be returned.
