Another vacation

There is no unified form for how to write a report on a serviceman’s leave. The document is drawn up according to the form and recommendations that are accepted in the relevant garrison or unit. The application must indicate:

  1. Full name, position and name of the military unit of the commander in whose name the report is being drawn up (we indicate information about the immediate superior).
  2. Similar information about the applicant. We indicate the full name, position and place of service of the citizen who is reporting.
  3. Type of rest, its duration. It is mandatory to indicate the start date of the vacation and the period for which the vacation was granted.
  4. In a special order, information about the location of a serviceman during the period of absence from service is prescribed. It is required to indicate the coordinates as accurately as possible. Complete the information with information about communication methods.
  5. Finally, indicate the position and full name. an employee who plans to perform the duties of a temporarily absent military personnel.

Military personnel have the right to apply for additional material support - payment for travel to the place of rest and back. These are not maximum limits. Additional days are granted for serving in unfavorable climatic conditions:

  • for work in the Far North - up to 15 days;
  • for service in areas equivalent to RKS - up to 10 additional days;
  • in remote and unfavorable areas - up to 5 days;
  • service is related to the fulfillment of obligations dangerous to life and health - an additional 15 days.

Please note that time spent traveling to and from your holiday destination is not included in these time frames. Travel time is taken into account separately and does not exceed 15 days.

Like civilians, military leave is granted entirely or divided into parts.

A serviceman has the right to return from vacation earlier than the established period. In such a situation, a report is submitted on the arrival of the serviceman from vacation.

Distinctive features of the document

Let us pay attention to the standards in accordance with which orders for employee leave are issued. All relevant documents should be drawn up according to the existing template.

An employee of the personnel department or any other authorized person fills out the order form. Then the form must be submitted for approval. For a document to be valid, it must be certified by the signature of the head of the organization or department.

Important! When the order has already been approved, the employee also signs. You should also enter information about the vacation into the employee’s personal card.

Data is entered based on the order. Also, no later than three days before the first day of vacation, payments must be made, if any.

There is also a list of papers attached to the order. The following official papers are prepared:

  • vacation schedule;
  • a statement from the employee himself, where he writes about his desire to receive leave.

Remember! The employee is obliged to notify of the need for leave in advance. A specific deadline is also defined: the information is provided by the employee at least 15 days before the first day of the proposed vacation. Calendar days are taken into account.

There are a number of other documents that can be attached to the order in the T-6 form.

  • Child's birth certificate.

  • Certificate of work experience.
  • Certificate of incapacity for work.

Time off for personal reasons

At the request of an employee, the unit command has the right to give him additional time off due to the occurrence of special family circumstances. The period of absence from service is no more than 10 days. Travel time is not included in the duration of leave for family reasons.

Grounds for provision:

  1. Death or illness of a close relative.
  2. Fire, flood or other natural disaster, as a result of which the employee’s relatives were injured.
  3. Other situations in agreement with the unit command.

To apply to management in order to obtain leave, regardless of its type, it is necessary to provide justification for one or another reason for such a decision. To prove the need for absence for a certain period of time, you need to complete and submit additional documents, such as attachments.

For the considered option of absence, the main evidence will be a summons certificate, which is issued from the serviceman’s place of training and sent to management.

In addition to the specified certificate, in some cases the authorities may require confirmation of the fact of the person’s enrollment.

With subsequent dismissal

Terminating a serviceman's contract is a standard procedure. Like a civilian employee, an employee has the right to take a vacation and, at the end of it, resign from the unit. To comply with formalities, a report on leave with subsequent dismissal of a serviceman will have to be written in a special form.

The application, in addition to basic information, indicates the date of dismissal. The appeal should be sent to management no later than two weeks before the start of the planned vacation. For employees whose work is related to state secrets, the period is longer - no less than a calendar month. In agreement with higher authorities, an order is issued based on the report.

For military personnel who have served for more than 20 years, a separate type of leave is provided - demobilization. It is equal to 30 calendar days and is provided before the upcoming dismissal. It is sometimes called "presidential".

Who is it served to?

The completed and signed application is handed over to the immediate supervisor at work, the head of the department, the manager or other authorized persons who are responsible for issuing a visa.

There are no set deadlines for the employer to become familiar with the information. However, upon receiving an application from an employee, it is better for the employer to make the appropriate notes in a timely manner and submit the document to the personnel administration department, whose specialists will soon forward the application to the accounting department for calculating payments.

As mentioned above, it is better for the employee to write a statement in advance. The minimum period is no later than 3-4 days.

Due to illness

Carrying out service requires physical and moral costs from citizens. And for military personnel, additional periods of rest to restore health are provided - from 30 to 60 days, depending on the illness and the duration of rehabilitation.

The period is allocated for sanatorium-resort treatment in specialized military hospitals or for the restoration of mental and physical health in public clinics. This period of treatment is extended by decision of a special medical commission. The maximum duration is 4 months. But there are exceptions for some diseases.

Upon completion of treatment, the serviceman undergoes a medical examination to confirm a satisfactory state of health.

Can they refuse?

An important issue is the right of the commander to refuse to grant study leave to a military man. What if the employee did not inform the commander about the training?

The charter of the internal service of the RF Armed Forces states: a military man is obliged to report to the commander about all actions that could affect the performance of service duties. Study definitely influences this factor, because a military man must be released from service for a significant period. This means that the commander must take measures to prevent a weakening of combat readiness.

As a result, the lack of notification about studies, regardless of the reasons, is a violation of Art. 26 Federal Law No. 76-FZ and the Charter, is a disciplinary offense for which you can be subject to disciplinary punishment.

There is also a second position: failure to report about studies is not a reason for refusing to let you go to the session. Why? Clause 10 of Rule 1155 defines possible reasons for refusal. These are exercises, ship cruises, business trips lasting more than 3 months - the general list is determined by type of troops. For the period of participation in such events, the military man is issued a certificate indicating the basis for postponing the exams.

The command has no reasons for refusal (with the exception of certain cases provided for by law) if there is a message about the training.

Study leave

Military personnel who are studying at higher educational institutions are provided with additional rest time. The basis for time off is a special document - a summons certificate. Complete the form at the university administration.
