Annual leave

What a vacation . For a break from work. It is due to every employee in the state, regardless of position and profession. Basis - art. 114, 122 Labor Code of the Russian Federation.

The first leave is given after 6 months. Subsequent ones - according to the vacation schedule. Pregnant women and women on maternity leave are given earlier at their request.

Minors, parents of disabled children under 18, and families with many children take vacations outside the schedule. These workers choose their own time at their convenience.

During the rest period, the employer pays the average salary. These payments are usually called vacation pay.

An employee can be called back to work from vacation only with his consent.

Duration . 28 calendar days per year.

In your company, you can set more annual leave. Then this is recorded in the employment contract or local act.

Minors rest longer - 31 calendar days. Teachers of kindergartens, schools, colleges and universities - from 42 to 56 days.

Holiday weekends do not count towards annual leave. In this case, the vacation is extended by the number of holidays.

Rest can be divided into parts. But one of the parts must be at least 14 days. If an employee does not have time to take a day off and quits, he is paid compensation. Basis - art. 115, 120, 125, 127 Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
